Our Mission
Here, children aren’t just watched—they’re guided, encouraged, and supported through each stage of development. Our days include motor-enriching activities, sensory exploration, outdoor play, reading and music time, and opportunities for creativity and independent learning. Every part of the environment is thoughtfully designed to help children build strength, coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.
What makes Tiny Steps Daycare LLC truly special is our philosophy:
Movement is learning. When children climb, crawl, balance, reach, push, pull, and explore their world, they’re building the foundation for cognitive, social, and emotional growth. With a PT-informed approach and small group size, we’re able to support every child where they are—whether they’re mastering new skills early, right on time, or need a little extra support along the way.
At Tiny Steps, your child will experience:
-
A safe, loving, family-centered environment
-
Daily motor development activities guided by my experience as a physical therapist
-
Nutritious, homemade meals and snacks
-
Hands-on gardening activities that support sensory exploration, curiosity, and early responsibility
-
A structured yet flexible routine that supports healthy development
-
Open communication with daily updates, photos, and insights into your child’s growth
-
A clean, licensed, thoughtfully designed in-home daycare space
Choosing childcare is a big decision, and I don’t take that lightly.
My goal is to create a space where you feel confident leaving your child each day—knowing they are safe, supported, and truly cared for. I look forward to welcoming your family into ours and being part of your child’s earliest steps.
Welcome to Tiny Steps Daycare LLC, a licensed nurturing, play-based, and developmentally rich childcare home located near E 168th Ave and Hwy 7 in Thornton, Colorado. Our mission is simple: to support children as they grow, explore, and reach new milestones—one tiny step at a time.
Hi, I’m Amber—Doctor of Physical Therapy, mom, and the owner of Tiny Steps Daycare. I created Tiny Steps to offer something rare in early childcare: a warm, home-based environment built around movement, purposeful play, and individualized attention. With my background in pediatric motor development, I bring both professional knowledge and a deep level of care to each child’s day.
